Allah SWT makes different levels of Jannah based on how far people have come in the world. Hadith, Tafsir, and scholars say that there are one hundred levels in Jannah. Jannah can be attained by doing more and more virtues. Umrah is the best way to get bundles of Virtues. Umrah can be performed by Ramadan Umrah Packages at Cheapest Price.
Level of Heaven
Al Bukhari and Sahi say:
"Jannah has a hundred levels, and there is as much space between each level as there is between the ground and the sky."
There is no doubt that Jannah has 100 levels, but the stories about those levels can be different. "Jannah has seven levels," according to Ibn-e-Abbas. Mumins will get degrees and grades for their good deeds and righteous behavior at each level. Ibn-e-Abbas says that there are seven levels in Jannah. Here are those levels:
- Jannat-al-Firdaws
- Jannat-al-And
- annat-an-Naim
- Dar-ul-Khuld
- Jannat-ul-Mawa
- Dar-us-Salam
- Illiyyun
Some scholars say that there are eight levels in Jannah, which are described in the Quran and the Hadiths as follows:
Jannat Al Adan:
This is the first level of Jannah. The word "Adan" means "home" and "eternal place." Allah SWT puts Muslims in different parts of Jannah based on the good things they did in this world. After paying for his or her sins, every Muslim will definitely go to Heaven in the end.
In Surah Tawbah Allah SWT talks about Jannat Al Adan and says:
"Allah promised the believers, both men and women, that they would live in the Gardens of Adan, which have rivers running through them. And even more! Allah's OK with it. That is the greatest victory."
In Surah Al Nahl Allah SWT says:
"They will enter Adan Ecstasy, where rivers flow, and they will have everything they want there. So Allah steals from the good.
"Allah Almighty made Jannat Al Adan and carefully planted its trees. Then (Jannah Adan) was told to speak. She (Adan) said, "Mumins gave them what they wanted."
Jannat Al Firdaws:
The second level of Jannah and the most prestigious level is Jannat Al Firdaws. Firdaws means "garden with many different kinds of plants." It talks about the grape vines as well. Prophet PBUH said:
"When you pray to God, ask for Jannat al Firdaws."
Kutub-i-Sitta says that Jannat Al Firdaws is better than all other Jannats and should be asked about first because it is the best of all.
Jannat An Naeem:
Naeem means a life filled with wealth, happiness, and blessings. It also means living in peace. In Surah Yunus Allah talks about Jannat An Naeem and says:
“Lo! People who believe and do good things are led by their Lord because of their faith. In the Gardens of Delight, rivers will flow under them."
In Surah As Shuara Almighty says:
"Make me a descendant of the Paradise of Delight."
Jannat Al Mawa:
The meaning of Mawa is “a place to take refuge; dwelling, home”. People also call this level the adobe for the martyred and the Mumins.
In Surah An Najm, it is written:
"And he really did see him go down again. By the lote tree at the edge of the world. Night until which is the Garden of Adobe"
Dar ul Khuld is the name of the fifth level of Jannah. Khuld means to be eternal, to be immoral, to be eternal, or to last forever. In Surah al Furqan Allah Almighty says:
"Say, is that better or the "Garden of Immorality" (Dar ul Khuld) that is promised to those who stay away from evil? It will be their payoff and the end of their journey."
Dar ul Maqaam:
According to scholars, Dar ul Maqaam is the sixth level of Jannah. It means "an essence place to stay" or "the safe place to live." The Zikr of Dar ul Maqam came in the Surah al Fatir:
"Who, in His beauty, has put us in the grange of eternity, where neither work nor tiredness can touch us."
Dar us Salam:
This is the seventh level of Paradise. Dar us Salam means "home of peace and safety" or "adobe of well-being." In Surah al Yunus Allah SWT says:
"Allah calls the peaceful home and leads whoever He wants to the Straight Path."
In Surah al Ana'am Allah Almighty says:
"For them, their Lord will be a place of peace. And because of what they used to do, He will protect them."
Illiyyun is the eighth and highest level of Jannah. It is a place where the perfect Mumins live. The angels of Hafaza hang out in a place called Illiyyun. Hafaza means protection, and it is the place where the good deeds of the righteous go up. It is the level closest to the highest level of Jannah, and it is also a gate of agreement in the next world.
Jannah is made up of a hundred levels:
Some scholars think that the hundred levels of Paradise show that the phrase "hundred levels" means that there are grades in each level of Jannah. Some other scholars said that the phrase "hundred levels" means "plurality," which means that Jannah is not just one level; it has a hundred levels, and each one is farther away than the one before it. The Mumins will live in the levels where they belong based on what they did in this world.
In the real book of Hadith, Thirmidhi, it says:
"Jannah has a hundred levels, and it takes a hundred years to get from one level to the next. The highest level is Jannat al Firdaws, from which four rivers flow. The throne is on top of it. So, when you pray to Allah SWT, ask for Jannat al Firdaws."
